Whole-home filtration
Treat the water where it enters the house
A system at the main treats everything that runs through the house, so the shower, the kettle and the laundry all get the same water.
It is sized to the house, not to a catalog: how many baths, how many people, what runs at once. We take that from the test visit and write it into the proposal.
What goes in
A sediment stage, then carbon, in the order the readings call for
Sized to your peak flow, not to a standard house
A bypass, so water keeps running while a stage is serviced

Where it goes
Where a system sits in a Naples house
Most Florida homes have no basement, so the position is the first thing we settle.
The garage or a utility closet
Near where the main enters. The usual choice, with a drain close by and the main shutoff in reach.
An outdoor pad
Beside the house, under a cover, where there is no room inside. We plan for sun, rain and a clear path to the cartridges.
Under the sink only
In a condo or villa the answer is often a kitchen unit and nothing at the main. We say so before we draw anything bigger.
Plainly
What a whole-home system does not do
It does not soften water. Carbon changes taste and smell; hardness is a different job, and we only raise it if scale is what bothers you.
It does not replace a kitchen tap for drinking water if dissolved minerals are your complaint. That is what reverse osmosis is for.
It is not a fix for lead, and we do not sell it as one. A laboratory test comes first.
Questions
About whole-home systems
Will it lower my water pressure?
Any filter adds some resistance. We size the system to your peak flow so the change is small, and we measure the pressure before and after.
How long does the install take?
It depends on the position and the stages. The proposal gives the time, and we confirm the date before we come.
Do you pull a permit?
Where the town requires one, yes. We say in the proposal whether yours does.
Can you service a system someone else installed?
We look at it first and tell you what we find. We do not promise to service every make.
See what your house needs
A test visit shows whether a whole-home system is called for or a kitchen unit is enough.
